How do I get someone out of jail? o
Contact a local bondsman they will be able to
help you find information on the inmates bail. In most cases, a bail is set and
the bondsman will be able to post the bail for you, for a fee. ·
How much is the fee? o
10% of the bond and no less than $100.00 ·
How long does it take after the bail is posted
before they are released from jail? o
Times vary usually between 2 to 6 hours. ·
How can I contact someone who has been arrested? o
If the person is under arrest, they will be able
to call from jail to any phone that is able to receive collect calls. In most
cases, cell phones do not accept collect calls. The person may attempt to
contact a bondsman. Who may be asked to reach out to a loved one on their
behalf. ·
What is a Bail Bond? o
A bail bond is a guarantee by a bondsman that a defendant in a court
action will appear to all of their criminal court proceedings. The bond is
given in return for the release of the defendant from jail or court custody. ·
